It seems as time has frozen to the endless minus degrees days. Tired of the sighing each morning decided to embrace it with a smile. Bundled up everyone for the last few days and out we go.
My son who is naturally an outdoor person loved it all. Explored the trees, made huge footprints on the snow barely touched even though there for days. He giggled and laughed and I was thinking good call to brave the weather even though he just recovered from the flu. This crystallized everything I learned about the outdoors and children. I am totally determined to do it again in yes minus five weather.
My daughter more conservative and reserved loved holding mommy’s hand and walking on the snow layered carpet.
