This book highlights the author’s family. It’s a story based on an older version of her son, Hari Keshava. The setting is Port-of-Spain, Trinidad where the author spent most of her life. Hari Keshava is excited to attend Ratha Yatra, the festival of chariots. He awakes from a peaceful sleep totally excited and ready for the activities of the day. Hari Keshava meets his friends; Tamal Krishna, Toshani and Anandini and they set out to explore without their parents’ knowledge and permission.
They have fun whilst exploring only to realize that they have drifted far away. They encounter a terrible predicament. What will these children do? This book highlights Lord Jagannath’s Ratha Yatra festival and the children’s adventure.
