It is human nature to err but when we blunder, we need to assume responsibility and learn from our mistakes. Words can be like pierced arrows or a soothing balm. We have the choice to uplift someone or drag them to be the pits of despair with our insensitive, callous comments. There is absolutely no justification for hurting anyone and if we say things that are offensive it shows our inner consciousness. Are you opting to pierce arrows or apply soothing balm by your choice of words? You have this option and choice to make. Exercise self control…once spoken there is no point of return…Unfortunately we cannot rewind or erase.
I urge you today to choose your words well and uplift others rather than bring despair. Greet five persons with kindness today. You can make the difference!

Lovely post. Rightly said. The way we use our words matter a lot. There is a saying: People can forget the hard slap which they received, but can never forget the harsh words they’ve been encountered by. We should definitely use our words carefully.

Thank you so much for making the time to comment. Definitely the power lies with us and we have to make the conscious choice in our interactions with others. Love your imagery…so distinct and endorses the subject.
